Acadia's Carriage Roads - Maine, USA

Acadia is among the smallest US national parks, but its combination of natural, cultural, and recreational resources places it among the “crown jewels” of the national park system.  The park’s nearly 50-mile network of carriage roads, built in the early part of the 20th century, offers walkers a striking opportunity to experience the great cultural landscapes of the park.
