Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park - Hawaii
Visitors to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park have front row seats to one of the most dynamic landscapes on earth. While all the Hawaiian Islands are of volcanic origin, the Island of Hawaii is the only one of the eight major islands that’s still volcanically active. The park’s largest volcano, Mauna Loa, rises nearly 14,000 feet above the surrounding Pacific Ocean. We recommend and describe four hikes that will allow you to deeply appreciate this park.
