Mesa Verde National Park - Colorado

Mesa Verde is one of the most important of the national parks, both for what it preserves and the precedent it set.  It was the first national park established to celebrate cultural as well as natural resources.  Its signature feature is the collection of massive cliff dwellings constructed by Native Americans, some of the dwellings including as many as 150 rooms.  We recommend and describe several walks and hikes that will allow you to deeply appreciate this park.
