MILFORD TRACK - New Zealand

Located in New Zealand’s vast Fjordland National Park, the Milford Track earned its reputation as “the finest track in the world” over a hundred years ago.  The trail runs 33 miles through the rain forests of two glacial valleys with an ascent over a connecting pass.  All walkers stay in lodges (either self-service or catered) and typically end the trip with a boat ride on impressive Milford Sound.
