Pinnacles National Park - California

This recent addition to the National Park System offers a lot of bang for the buck, including a geologically unusual and strikingly beautiful landscape, interesting wildlife (including the rare and remarkable California condor), a system of talus caves with resident bat populations, and a large wilderness, all of this easily accessible from the San Francisco Bay Area.  We recommend and describe four hikes that will allow you to deeply appreciate this park.
