Saguaro National Park - Arizona
Like all national parks, Saguaro is special; it preserves a large section of the distinctive Sonoran Desert, much of it covered in dense stands of mighty saguaro cactuses, an iconic symbol of the American Southwest. These cactuses and other desert vegetation are monuments of biological adaptations and evolution in the face of extreme heat and aridity. We recommend and describe several hikes that will allow you to deeply appreciate this park.
