Val d'orcia - italy

Val d’Orcia means “Valley of the Orcia River”, and this week-long walk crosses the large, tranquil Tuscan valley with walkers spending the night in a series of historic hill towns.  The valley includes many defining features, including extensive vineyards, olive groves, fields of sunflowers and wheat, cypress-lined avenues, walled medieval hill towns, historic castles and abbeys, and isolated farmhouses.
