Zion rim-to-rim - utah, usa

Zion National Park in southern Utah is a striking arid landscape of great and colorful slickrock canyons, towering cliffs, and magical spires and arches, and hiking the park from rim-to-rim offers a stunning transect of the park.  This is a 28-mile route that leads down the west rim of the park to the floor of Zion Canyon, and then up the east rim of the park.  The hike can be done as a backpacking trip or a series of day hikes.
